Congratulations to our students and clients on a job well done!

Calvin and Roby are sweeping the ring in the amateur and open events.  Just 3 yrs old, Calvin is that “Texas” star we love to see shine showing his sires winning ways in Western Pleasure as well as Hunter under saddle and Trail.  Roby is busy planning her first trip to the world show with us this year and we know these two will be hard to beat with High Point awards already in their pockets for the year.

This is a team to watch.

Kelsey & Charlie worked hard all year and it really showed when she placed that trophy saddle on him for their photos!  In her first year as an Amateur she managed to win the Reserve All Around Amateur Award Saddle at the 2010 ABRA WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS.  WOW!  What next?

Rosie is pictured here as a weanling winning the IEBHA Halter Futurity in 2008.  Injured early in 2009, she came back to the ring that Fall winning both the IEBHA Halter Futurity and the INPHC Solid Bred High Point All Around Yearling in Hand Award for 2009!  Rosie earned her ROM in halter as a yearling so Jenny will be showing her in western pleasure  in 2011 and her daughter, Paige will be showing her in Walk Trot in 2011...quite the superstar Rosie is.

Bunny was the NSBA Reserve Champion at the 2009 ABRA World Show and finished 3rd in the world in the longeline event.  She went on to win the IEBHA Longeline Futurity in Spokane, Wa.  Finishing Top Five in the nation and on the honor roll for ABRA in 2009.  She debuts under saddle in ‘11.

Lauren & Tanner won a top ten title at their first world show and back at home they were the Division Champions in the Hunter Show.  On top of that they placed 1st for the Year End in the Northeast Zone Dressage Training Level, the FIRST time a Junior Rider has won on a Junior horse!

Lauren is leasing Goldun Asset for the 2011 show season and has already won her first high point award, why are we not surprised?

Haley Thayer & Surprisesonly a Rumor

Haley & Jesse attended their first APHA recognized show this Fall and earned over 15 APHA points that weekend, winning the Reserve High Point Novice Youth Award—nice going girls!   They finished their 2009 year NINTH in the NATION for PAC Western Pleasure.  Way to go girls!

Haley also owns Baxter, Tex’s full brother and we call them the “Blonde Team” but they looked very smart in the ring as they finished top five in all events at his very first show...this is a rising pair of stars.

Cassie & Jusdun earned their first AQHA point together in 2010 in Hunter Under Saddle. They won a Division Award at the Fall Hunter Show at PFEC and are really coming together as a team.  They are an elegant pair that is destined to win the hearts of the judges in 2011.  Cassie has found her new love in hunter jumper events with Jusdun and he has shown star quality over fences to all of us...go big you two!

Hannah & Spencer are off to a great start on the AQHA Youth Circuit winning numerous high point and all around awards in 2010 at regional AQHA shows.  This team is headed for great things together. 

If all goes as planned Hannah will be the new owner of Suddun Sunsation and will be attending all the ABRA events as a member of the show team,  she has spent many happy afternoons aboard this rising two year old dream filly. They will be do great things together in the ring...good luck Hannah.

Junior was quite a surprise, from not knowing he was coming three years ago to wowing us recently in his ability to lope like the best of them.  The spittin image of his dad, Dun Goin Steady, Junior is headed for big wins, big time.  He is a prime example of what we like to see in the western pleasure ring.  Morgan did most of the work on this guy but she lets me help once in awhile and I am lucky enough to have them both on the show team . 

I cant wait to see what these two can do!!!

Shelby is the youngest member of our ABRA Show Team, but she is fast becoming a tough competitor and winning her way to the top to join her mom, Janet.  Keep up the good work Shelby!

Janet Eckenberg & Goldun Asset

Janet purchased Gracie from us in 2010 as a 3 YO.  Gracie is a western pleasure machine and won her ROM at Congress by placing first under all five judges in Green Western Pleasure her first time shown.  She is has two ROM’s in WP and qualified for the 2011 NSBA World Championships...Nice Going!  Watch for continued great things from her & Lauren Benedict this year.

Teri Bedner purchased Levi from us in January and already he has earned an ROM in IBHA Longeline, finishing out among the Top 5 in the nation for IBHA—Superb Job Teri & Patti!  He is beginning his career in western pleasure and we cant wait to see him at the next world show.
